Guided tours for children in the Open Air Museum
Daily in the summer holidays at 2 p.m.

This summer guided tours for children take place daily at 2 p.m. in the Open Air Museum Petronell. While exploring the Roman city there are all sorts of adventures to be had.  How was Roman clothing worn correctly?  How did one write on wax tablets?  Did Roman children also have school holidays? It is hard to believe, but some games that are popular today were played with enthusiasm by children 2000 years ago. Both the Orca game and Blind Men’s Morris, one of today’s most popular board games, found favour in ancient Carnuntum.

If you are now curious, come to the children’s tour daily at 2 p.m. in the Open Air Museum Petronell.
