Expedition Carnuntum – DAY OF HIKING
Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, the route takes you to the Amphitheatre Bad Deutsch-Altenburg, to the Open Air Museum Petronell and further via the large public baths (so-called palace ruins) and the Heidentor (Heathens’ Gate) to Petronell railway station. There are of course breaks for rest and refreshments. Book the attractively priced whole-day programme.

The programme includes
sleeping in legionaries’ tents. Two days filled with interesting
adventures (such as cooking like the legionaries on the camp fire,
torch-lit hike, Roman games, and much more) take place under the
supervision of a knowledgeable expert. Extension of programme
possible. Suitable for pupils from 4th year upwards.
