In the Open Air Museum Petronell you will be welcomed by a Roman citizen. In celebration of the occasion, the "birthday child" will be dressed in a tunic and receive a golden laurel crown. A mug of mulsum will help you to gain a first impression of the goings-on around you.
A short guided tour through the civilian city will entertain you with exciting facts and anecdotes about life in an ancient metropolis.
Try out different Roman games, change into a real Roman citizen by wearing a toga and mint your own Carnuntum souvenir coin.
As a special birthday present, a fortune teller will come and tell the birthday child something about his/her future.
